May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving!

From my family to yours, may you all have a blessed Thanksgiving!

May your day be filled with the company of people you love, food that you crave, and many blessings and simple pleasures to make this years Thanksgiving a day filled with memories.

We are looking forward to a quiet day filled with each other, a turkey coma in the afternoon and weather permitting a much needed trek in the Idaho wilderness! 🙂  We were blessed to have both our parent’s join us this fall for fantastic visits, memories made and special times.

I am very thankful for YOU today.  I am grateful that you are following my posts and look very forward to sharing a lot of knowledge over the winter months.  Things will start slowing down a bit after Christmas.

Right now we are mass producing our products for Christmas orders at http://RockingGTDesigns.com and my Mountain Man is fabricating many new items in the “Smithy” this week for release next week.  I will be busy making 200 soy candles next week and packaging another 200 bars of goats milk soap.

I am also a web designer by trade (10 years and going strong) and a freelance writer as well and both these jobs are keeping me extremely busy right now as well.   There is never a dull moment in our home and I have to say I like it that way.  A bit more R n R will be nice upcoming, but I am so very thankful for all our abilities, knowledge, desires, skills, gifts, blessings…

We are truly blessed with each other, our location and all that we do daily.  I would like to encourage you all to join me….

Get a cheap little notebook and take the time each day to jot down 3 things that you are thankful and grateful for.  Life is so very short and it is meant to be lived happily and with a smile.  My life is not perfect and I too struggle from time to time, but I find that when you take the time to be consciously aware of your blessings daily your life will be happier and you will be healthier.

Enjoy the simple pleasures around you daily, not just on special holidays!  Tomorrow I look forward to being exceptionally thankful for all that God has blessed us with.   Be thankful out loud as well….  Don’t miss opportunities that could pass you by – tell the people  you love and care about how thankful you are for them and how grateful you are to have them in your life.

I am thankful to have my family together daily – some couples couldn’t spend 24/7 together, but we are truly blessed to have a fantastic connection and we play well together….  🙂   We were blessed to find each other…

Tomorrow we will be having turkey stuffed with bacon and apples and wrapped tightly on the outside with bacon, candied yams, mashed potato filling, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, flaky dinner rolls and pumpkin pie.  Turkey comma for sure… 🙂  What kind of goodies will you be making?  Would love to hear and would love for you to share your favorite recipes….

Again I am thankful for YOU and thankful that I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet you and for the opportunities ahead to get to know each of you.

Blessings <3
