Are Farmer's Markets Under Attack

I’d like to thank Gregg Carter for his OUTSTANDING post this week titled,  Are Farmer’s Markets Under Attack?  This is a good topic and one that is of and should be a concern to ALL!    I encourage you to take the time and read this post!  I feel that Gregg has hit the nail on the head and I feel that this is something that we should not only worry about, but stand up for.

I have gotten great pleasure in visit the farmer’s markets regularly as a kid and getting a homemade pickle on a stick and enjoyed sharing that tradition with my son!

I WANT to have the right to know where my food comes from and I WANT to be able to feed my family a wholesome healthy diet.   I enjoy the traditions of the past – we can our food, we preserve, cure and smoke our own meats for our family in a log smoke house we built together and I want to be able to continue doing so!

Honestly, the only way we can do that is to grow and make our own food from scratch!  We have eliminated processed foods from our diet and I can not tell you how much healthier we are!   We have more energy, we are rarely sick, our joints no longer hurt and we are no longer so overly tired.  Our total well-being has improved!

If we do not stand up for our rights such as these, soon all that will be available to us is GMO ridden foods and processed foods that are nothing but additives and preservatives that are killing us slowly.

Please help keep our farmer’s, farmer’s markets and America as we know it alive!!

How do you feel about this subject?  What have you most enjoyed about Farmer’s Markets?

Thank you again Gregg for your post!  We stand beside you my friend!  God bless you and yours!

Thanks so much for joining me.  I look forward to seeing what you all have to share today…

Blessings,

Tam (MWJ) ♥ <><
