Creating-Silver-Linings-Coconut-Ghee

I’d like to thank CreatingSilverLinings.com for sharing their Super Simple Coconut Ghee.  I LOVE butter..  Did I say, “I LOVE BUTTER”! 🙂  BUT my son is unable to have any dairy so we have been utilizing a non-gmo coconut based butter, but it would be nice to be able to utilize real butter sometimes and I have not tried it yet, but this wonderful recipe has prompted me to try and see how our Mountain Boy would do with ghee and to have the benefits of the coconut oil is HUGE!  I have made goats milk butter and that may be our full time solution, but I would like to see if ghee would work for my son who is on a gluten free and casein free diet to provide him with additional options as an adult.  Ghee removes the milk fat and may be something my son’s system will tolerate.  We know for a fact now that anything goats milk will work for him and we have made various cheeses, yogurt, butter, whey breads and baked goodies, ice cream and so much more, but I must say I am anxious to try this.  Thanks again Creating Silver Linings for sharing!  Blessings to you and yours!

Ryan and Brooke Need Your Help

For those of you that have been praying for our friend’s Brooke and Ryan, I would like to ask you to continue to pray for them.  Brooke met with her doctor in Texas this past week and informed her that the tumor that was removed in March was the same type of tumor that she had in 2009, but way more aggressive.  She is scheduled to start a week of radiation that will likely take her hearing on the right side and she will them continue with a year of chemo.  Please pray for them as they progress through this!  Blessings to everyone and thank you! ♥

Thank you all for joining me today.

I look very forward to seeing what you will have to share this week!

  1. Thanks for the shout out on my coconut ghee. I hope it works for your son. This week I shared my corn-less tortillas. By the way, they taste really good with coconut ghee. 🙂
