Simple Life Sunday #17 Featuring Violet Jelly

Simple Life Sunday Blog Hop

Thanks so much for joining me for Simple Life Sunday.  Grab your cup of tea or coffee and sit down with me and join me while I look through all the wonderful posts everyone has shared! Before you leave be sure to share one of your favorite posts.

I am gearing up here to make Dandelion Jelly so when I saw Lois’s post from CreativeChaos.com last week I couldn’t resist sharing.  She shared her post on Violet Jelly and it reached out and grabbed me.  I LOVE making herbal and fruit jellies and now my list for this spring consists of violet, dandelion and our traditional strawberry.  This summer I will add mint and this fall I will add elderberry jelly, pepper jelly, pear jelly and  apple butter.  There is nothing better than homemade!

  1. Thanks for hosting! I’m sharing my Jammy Gummy Bites — perfect for using up those last jars of homemade jam, or as a new treat for the kids’ lunches, or as an excuse to make even MORE jam this year! 🙂
And also a picture post of the Pixie and her rainbow socks!
