Thanks so much for joining me for Simple Life Sunday. Grab your cup of tea or coffee and sit down with me and join me while I look through all the wonderful posts everyone has shared! Before you leave be sure to share one of your favorite posts.
Once again it was very difficult to just pick one post.. I could have easily picked 5 or 6, 7, 8…
But I was drawn to two specific posts and again Gregg from The Rural Economist caught my attention with his post titled “Man Was Created From The Soil“. Gregg and I share the very same thoughts. I encourage you all to check out his post. His sentiments are very true about the world we live in today and about how the world was created!! I truly feel also that God created EVERYTHING we need to survive right here on this beautiful earth. Everything he created had a purpose if not multiple purposes and everything was very well thought out. I believe that the plants we find great beauty in, were not just created to arouse our senses, but to heal and I believe the same is true of some of the ugliest plants in the forest… Everything has a purpose and the more modernized we become the further we pull away from the soil we were created from – there is a reason that gardening feels good and causes us to feel connected!! It is time to unplug and enjoy, see and take in the beauty, creation and wonders God created for us! GREAT post Gregg and thank you greatly for sharing… Again I will say – it does my heart good to see SO SO many people joining in and speaking their faith freely!! Now more than ever I feel we need to regain faith and hope in our communities! Blessings to you and yours!!
I’d also like to thank Tracy from Our Simple Life for sharing her post titled “5 Simple Steps To Simple Living“. I totally agree, Tracy! I want to hear the whisper from God and with our hustle bustle lives we tend to drown it out – I say please speak to me, but how could I possibly hear him?!?! Learning to say NO has been HUGE in my life and slowing things down so I could enjoy working with my hands and doing some good ole hard work which not only is good for you physically it is also incredibly good for the soul too! These are the times we can hear God!! It merely takes simple steps to turn ourselves around. I am so thankful that I chose to life 2015 with intention and I encourage you as well to do the same!! Intentionally decide what is important to you and stick to your guns!! Tracy – thanks so much for sharing your post!! As always it was a joy to read and it is nice to know there are so many other kindred spirits out there joining me!! Blessings to you and yours!!
From one Mother to another, may I wish all you Mother’s out there a very special and intentional Mother’s Day!! May you find simple pleasures in your day and enjoy your family! ♥
