Podcast #140: Interview with Lisa Kivirist Author of Soil Sisters

Mountain Woman Radio Episode 140 Lisa Kivirist - Soil SistersAugust 3rd, 2016: In today’s show I had the privilege to share some time with Lisa Kivirist, author of Soil Sisters: A Toolkit For Women Farmers.  Lisa and her husband run Inn Serendipity and have co-authored several books together which can be found here.  Lisa is on a constant mission to assist, aid and educate women farmers.

Mary Jane Butters, another big advocate for women farmers, of Mary Janes Farm provided the foreward for Lisa’s book.  It is amazing to see what a strong community is forming to help increase the number of women farmers and in turn a large amount of organic food for our country and communities.

You can find Lisa at SoilSistersBook.com, Inn Serendipity and her books here.
